Christian Education

Wethersfield United Methodist Church has a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Christian Education Ministry. We are blessed to have many loving, faith-committed teachers (two or more adults per grade level and teenage helpers in the lower grades).

We are truly excited about our curriculum and the wonderful ways it benefits our children!

• Each lesson concentrates on answering one important question from the Bible and applying that answer to children's lives.
• The curriculum (through active learning) makes Bible learning fun!
• Chronological coverage of the Bible helps children put God's story all together.
• Our children love the music!!!
• Student books encourage continued learning at home.
• The "Driving Home the Point" weekly page equips parents to encourage their childrens' faith at home.

Sunday Morning Church School

Our Sunday School runs from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. for adults and children (except during the summer).

Adults
We offer short term (4-8 weeks) bible and topical studies for adults. Many of our members also enjoy teaching our children during this time.

Children
We offer cribbery and formal classroom instruction for: 3's, 4's, Kindergarten & 1st, 2nd & 3rd, 4th & 5th, 6th thru 8th, 9th thru 12th grades each Sunday. We have over a hundred children participating in Sunday School.
