Opportunities for Music Ministry

In Colossians 3:16-17 we are instructed to "sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God... giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Yet of more importance than the type of songs we sing is the spirit in which they are sung. The songs that we sing at the Wethersfield United Methodist Church flow out of gratitude and thanksgiving in response to the Word. Our songs come from the heart and are directed in praise to the awesome power of God. It is our hope that as we pray through the music in our services, you will be touched and brought closer in communion with God.

Adults (9th grade+)

Chancel Choir
Meets Thursdays 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Music Room

Chancel Ringers
Meets Thursdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall or Sanctuary

Women's Praise group is open to all women of the church who have a heart desire to literally sing God's praises! All skill levels are invited and encouraged to participate in this worship experience. We meet once per month for practice and lead the worship music on the last Sunday of each month.
