Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2010 was held from June 21 through June 24th
and it was a huge success!
We had an amazing 80+ children, youth and adults partcipate in this event.
Each day, Cadets went on a Bible Mission on the starship Galactic Praise, journeying to a different Bible destination.
Each destination revealed something new about how children can develop a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The daily destinations included 4 "Mission Stations":Bible story, Cosmic Science Discovery, Challenging Crafts and Astro-packed outdoor games. It also included out-of-this-world contemporary music, easy "green" earth tips that kids can practice at home and Galactic snack time with a snack designed to relate to the Bible destination of the day.
The children discovered that God is with them at all times, in all places, and in all circumstances, ready to help them and guide them.
As part of VBS, the children collected recycleable bottles and cans to be turned into money to provide each child attending VBS in Haiti a hot meal.
